[TUHH] Tell us about yourself. Name? Where are you from? What kind of music you create? How did you get started in music?
Caper : My names Caper I’m from Bronx, NY and I make hip hop music. I started DJing when I was 15 years old then crossed over into Rapping at 16 years old and soon after that I was making beats.
[TUHH] How did the Hip Hop I Am album come about?
Caper : Wu-Tang /Suns of Man producer Su-Preme was posting beat videos and was searching for dope emcees to bless his beats for an album. He had a vision and we all worked hard to make that vision become reality.
[TUHH] What was the vision for your song on the album? What was the title? Why did you choose that title?
Caper : We had two songs on the album called “Da Order” and “The Truth Hurts”. We wanted the songs to be as realistic as possible based on every day events that are happening in our communities.
[TUHH] What is your favorite part of creating music or performing?
Caper : The thinking process and making those thought transform into powerful words that can paint a full portrait.
[TUHH] Where do you get your inspiration from?
Caper : I get inspired by life and experiences. I get inspired to speak up about current events and more.
[TUHH] What are some of the highlights from the past year for you? What’s in store for 2016?
Caper : My highlights are my album “Soldier of Life” and other projects I have worked on. We have a lot in store for 2016 more music and videos. We are currently working on a movie series.

Caper : My kids, family and Friends.
[TUHH] What is one thing you’ve learned during your career in music? Any advice for people starting out in the industry?
Caper : I learned to be careful with who you do business with. My advice is to stay true to your music and work hard. Take the time to learn the ins and outs of the industry not just music.
